The total number of slides allowed is 9 (excluding the reference list) This is a follow-up from A2 (PestleSwotAnalysis) for this subject which is provided in the attachments. “ The achievement of justice in the Local Court is affected by factors including the high volume of cases and the pressure to plead guilty. The focus on efficiency means that justice is often compromised.”

1. What is the effect on people appearing before the court, of  the high volume of cases and the pressure to plead guilty?

2. Discuss the effect on one vulnerable group ie one group in the community who already suffer disadvantage.
